Arizer Air 2 Sneak Peek

With Arizer's release of Solo 2 this year, we knew that there had to be an update to the Arizer Air around the corner.  The details are a bit hazy right now, but here is what we know about the Arizer Air II...

When can I buy an Arizer Air II?

If the release goes like the Solo II did, we think it could be available as early as Thanksgiving.

Same Size

The Arizer Air II has the same form factor as the original Air.  If it ain't broke, why fix it.  Right?

How Much Will It Cost?

The question everyone is asking, but we don't have an answer to yet.  Using the Solo 2 as an indicator and the launch price of the original Air, we expect the Air 2 to retail around CAD$340.

Faster Heat Up & More Battery Life

Arizer is describing the Air 2 as having "Bigger Performance", which isn't much to go on. With the release of the Solo 2, Arizer increased battery life by 50% and improved the heat up time to be 4 times faster than the original Solo so we would expect similar improvements in the Air 2 over the original Air.

Digital Display!

The Air II will come with an OLED display just like the Solo 2 giving you full temperature control, display in either F or C and a Battery Level indicator.  It's the simple things that make us so happy.

We're expecting more features that give you advanced control over your session like we saw with the Solo 2 release.  Stay tuned!  We'll be sending out updates as soon as we know more.

New Colors

So it looks like we can expect the same Mystic Blue of the Solo 2 for the Air 2.  What other colors?  Not sure, but our money is on at least Carbon Black.
