New Recessed Stem
While we always appreciate a smaller footprint, size wasn’t the only factor keeping the Air 2 and Solo 2 tied to our coffee table. The removable glass stems, a trademark Arizer feature, required carrying multiple pieces. Instead of sticking out of the device, the ArGo has a recessed slot for the glass stem. Push down the top of the vaporizer and the mouthpiece will pop out slightly when you’re ready to vape or reload the stem.
Top Shelf Sticker Price
Convenience comes at a price, and in this case, it’s CAD$216.99. That’s approaching the highest price points for portable vapes, and the most expensive of the Arizer vapes. Still, for fans of the Arizer line looking to take their good times on the road, it may be worth the extra cost.
Swappable Long-lasting Battery
Arizer says the ArGo will deliver around 90 minutes of vaping on a single charge. That’s about the same as the Arizer Air 2, which usually reaches around 80 minutes in our testing.
The ArGo uses a standard 18650 lithium-ion battery so you can charge an extra in case you run out of juice, or multiples for a long trip, and swap them out as you go. It takes 3.5 hours to go from empty to full via USB charging, although a dedicated battery charger cuts that time down.
No App Needed
No Bluetooth needed! The ArGo’s controls are all on-board, and dead simple to use. They match the Air 2 and Solo 2’s buttons, with raise and lower temperature, plus a third mode button to control heating modes and settings. With those three buttons, you can control everything from auto shut-off times to audible alerts -- a new feature for Arizer -- as well as the typical settings, like Celsius or Fahrenheit modes and screen brightness.
