During our trip to Los Angeles this month we made our way out to Boundless HQ to meet with the team. We saw some new products, got up to speed on some older ones, and took a tour of their facilities.
Elegant water pipe adapter
We started with the Boundless Tera on a bubbler using a gorgeous blackwood 14mm water pipe adapter (wpa) that just showed up from from Ed’s TNT. The Tera is a workhorse that already comes standard with a metal wpa, but for those who want something with more style, Ed and Boundless have you covered with this beauty.
CFC 2.0 holding up well
Earlier this year Boundless released the CFC 2.0, looking to correct the manufacturing problems of the original CFC. We thought the changes looked solid, but only time would tell if they were effective. It’s only been two months since its release, but early return rates are much lower, and it looks like Boundless’ CFC 2.0 is turning into a solid value at its budget friendly price.
Boundless Micro gets a name change
We’ve anticipated Boundless’ next release, the CFC Lite (previously called the Micro), since we first saw it in February. No matter how hard we pressed, Boundless refused to give an estimated release date. Instead, they’ve slowed down the whole process to get more feedback and time for testing. This is great news after the Tera’s rough release, and we should have a prototype in our hands by the end of the month.
We always enjoy our time with the Boundless crew. They’re a lot of fun and really care about their customers. They’ve had a lot going on this year with two new vaporizer releases and a third on the way. Keep a lookout for more Boundless updates from us as we get some time with the CFC Lite.
