Cut to the chase - which should I get?

Get the Solo 2 MAX if you want smooth, flavorful vapor focused on long, relaxed sessions. Its hybrid heating system, combined with a glass aroma tube, preserves the full flavor of your herbs within a satisfying cloud. The Solo 2 MAX’s airflow encourages slow, steady draws, which is best suited for vapers who prefer leisurely, controlled sessions. It also boasts an impressive 3-hour battery life for those long-haul sessions.

Get the POTV Lobo if you’re looking for a more affordable and portable option that doesn’t compromise on power. The Lobo delivers dense, potent vapor from the very first hit, and its customizable glass accessories, like mini bubblers and water pipe adapters, allow you to tailor your sessions to your liking. What is the POTV Lobo?

The Planet of the Vapes Lobo is our flagship dry herb vaporizer, crafted by industry experts to cater to all types of vape users. Building on the success of the POTV ONE, the Lobo features a larger oven, a removable battery, USB-C charging, and our signature Glass Adapter for added versatility. Its dynamic hybrid heating system combines convection and conduction to produce thick, flavorful vapor from the very first hit. Our goal was to take the best features from top dry herb vapes, pack them into a portable design, and keep it affordable.

The Solo 2 MAX vapor is light and tasty. The Lobo hits harder

Vapor from the Solo 2 MAX is pristine. Its ceramic heating element, stainless steel oven, and glass stem keep your herbal flavors intact while delivering potent hits. Sessions are slow and calculated with a tighter airflow that encourages a softer, steadier pull. It’s not a fat ripper.

The POTV Lobo emphasizes large clouds without skipping on flavor. Vapor is ready almost instantly and produces potent clouds however you rip it. Hit it slow and steady or fast and furious, and the Lobo will keep up. With the defaut dimpled glass stem, each hit is cool enough for big rips, but you’ll want to check out some of our mini glass bubblers for the comfiest hits.

    Both connect to bubblers

Both vaporizers are compatible with tabletop bubblers, but the POTV Lobo excels. The Solo 2 MAX performs well on a bubbler, but its airflow is a bit too tight for me to truly enjoy it. I wouldn’t recommend it to those who are looking for a fast and furious tabletop bubbler experience. If you don’t mind that and just want the comfiest vapor, then you’ll love it. It comes with a 14mm male adapter and will invert its screen when you flip it onto your bubbler.

The POTV Lobo performs as if it were designed for bubblers. The airflow is open enough for long, heavy draws or quick shots of vapor if you want. It’s fast, it’s potent, and it's my number one recommended way to enjoy this vaporizer. Make sure you pick up the POTV Water Pipe Adapter to make this work.

POTV Lobo is more portable & discreet

The POTV Lobo is designed with portability in mind. Its sleek, compact design easily fits into your pocket or bag without weighing you down, and its glass accessories easily detach for easy storage. It fits comfortably in your hand and can be palmed and concealed for more discreet use when using the dimpled glass stem.

The Solo 2 MAX is a large, hefty vape that I prefer as an at-home device that I can walk around the house with. It’ll fit inside a large bag or backpack, but you won’t be slipping it into your pockets.

Arizer Solo II Max has a longer battery life...

When it comes to battery life, the Solo 2 MAX shines. With up to 3 hours of continuous use, it's perfect for long sessions anywhere. It also offers USB-C pass-through charging, so you can keep the sessions going while it charges. Unlike the Lobo, however, the battery is non-replaceable.

The POTV Lobo offers around 90 minutes of battery life, which is great, but it is outclassed by the Solo 2 MAX. It makes up for it, though, with quick USB-C charging and a user-replaceable battery.

But the POTV Lobo has a removable battery

The POTV Lobo makes up for lost runtime with a replaceable 18650 battery. Skip the charge times altogether with a spare battery at the ready with a quick and easy swap.

The Arizer Solo 2 MAX comes with a built-in battery. While the battery is reliable and supports pass-through charging (vape while it charges), it is not user-replaceable.

The Lobo pairs with POTV Glass Accessories

The POTV Lobo stands out for its customizable experience with our POTV Glass ecosystem. Our dry stems provide discreet, efficient cooling, while the mini bubblers deliver the cooling power of a tabletop setup in a compact size. For those looking to unlock the Lobo’s full potential, pair it with the POTV Water Pipe Adapter and power it through your favorite bubbler rig.

With a wide variety of glass accessories available, you can truly customize your sessions to match your unique style. Plus, our selection of colored glass options adds a unique, personal flair to every session.

The Solo 2 MAX has glass accessories

The Solo 2 MAX benefits from a small collection of glass accessories. There are a number of different dry glass stems - short, long, and bent - and even a bubbler option as well. It's not as extensive as the POTV lineup, but there are customization options out there for ya.

Both vapes offer full, onboard controls

The Lobo’s controls are simple and intuitive, with just three buttons. A triple-click on the large button powers it on or off, while the two smaller buttons let you adjust the temperature precisely between 320°F (160°C) and 430°F (221°C).

Everything is clearly displayed on a bright screen, including the current and set temperature, session time remaining, and battery level.

The Solo 2 MAX also features full onboard controls and customizable settings on a bright LED screen. Three buttons let you set the temperature anywhere from 122°F (50°C) to 428°F (220°C), with deeper customizations to fine-tune your experience.

    Price differences: CAN$214.95 vs CAN$244.95

The POTV Lobo dry herb vaporizer is more affordable at CAN$214.95, compared to the Solo 2 MAX’s CAN$244.95 price tag.

The Solo 2 MAX’s biggest selling points include unrivaled battery life with pass-through charging, Arizer’s signature vapor quality, and an included water pipe adapter and screen inversion. It’s great for the light to medium user who doesn’t need fast, heavy sessions.

For less, the POTV Lobo still delivers a strong performance with dense vapor, a replaceable battery, a range of customizable glass accessories, and an ultra-portable design. It’s great for a variety of users and delivers quick, potent vapor no matter how you rip it.

Warranties: Try the Lobo risk-free for 100 days

The POTV Lobo comes with a 2-year warranty plus an extended 100-day satisfaction guarantee. Try it out, get to know it, and if you don't like it, return it within 100 days for a full refund.

When you pick up the Arizer Solo 2 Max, you’re covered by a 2-year warranty and a 1-year warranty on the battery. You're also covered by our 14-day Satisfaction Guarantee when you purchase with us.
