Table of contents

Let me introduce you to the Go SRT, Arizer’s latest portable dry herb vape that makes all-day on-the-go vaping more powerful and convenient. While it is neither Arizer’s strongest vape, nor its most portable, it is their best combination of the two. And with their new dosing capsule ecosystem that only works for this vape, it feels like a refined product. The Solo 3 is a stronger portable vape, but the Go SRT may be a better lifestyle fit for most people, given the more flavorful sessions, greater portability, and fantastic travel accessories.

✅Main Takeaway: The Go SRT is Arizer’s most complete portable vape to date, with a pocketable form factor, a punchy vapor profile, and accessories that heighten the experience.

Balanced power and flavor

For me, the Go SRT strikes a nice balance in the Arizer portable vape lineup. Their first eight vapes were essentially re-skins of the same vapor session with different form factors and battery configurations. Their ninth release, the Solo 3, was completely different, with faster, stronger sessions that tasted good, but aggressively ran through that flavor. The Arizer Go SRT captures some of that Solo 3 oomph, and retains the slower, classic flavor ride of the older Arizer portables.

Arizer didn’t stop there with the SRT. They also created a dosing capsule ecosystem around it that simply doesn’t exist with their other vapes. But I’ll get into that in a minute. Let me tell you about these sessions…

Flavor that lasts

Sessions on the Arizer Go SRT are tasty throughout, with that extra punch. I tested the vapor quality across the temperature spectrum and loved it.

At 350°F (175 °C), the vapor started out tasty and light, with clouds building in the third hit. At no point did the flavor get roasty, even near the end of the session.

At 390°F (200 °C), I found great flavor with some terp bite throughout the first hit. Things clouded up in the second hit, and the flavor lasted until the last few hits, which gave way to a slight roast.

When I turned the temperature to the top, 428°F (220 °C), there was a strong flavor in the beginning, with a short burst of terp bite. The clouds formed by the end of the first draw, and the session was roasty after just a few hits.

I rate the air flow average on the Go SRT. It’s more open than earlier Arizer vapes and is on par with the Solo 3 for restriction. The SRT comes with a 14mm water pipe adapter, and I put that thing to good use. I didn’t think the restriction created too much work, and sessions were satisfying on my bubbler.

Ready in no time

The Go SRT is ready as fast as you need it. It reached 390°F (200 °C) in all my tests in just 20-23 seconds, depending on the battery level. I know some “on-demand” vapes that take that long. With the SRT’s unique control scheme, you can configure it for session or on-demand use.

Customize for Session or On-demand styles

This vape’s control scheme can tailor sessions to your exact style, but keep the manual handy. I referenced it three times, and familiarity with older Arizer portables won’t help you. Once I got it, I found it simple and accommodating…stick with it!

During a classic vape session, you can adjust the temperature throughout, at will. Not here. The Go SRT has three session profiles that you can adjust independently to any temperature, and a selection of session time lengths (20 sec, 30 sec, 1 min, 2 min, 5 min). You set these up before your session, and you can switch between the three at will when you vape.

At first, I thought this was a design whiff. But once I learned it, the system became quick and precise - I just needed to play around to find my sweet spot. With this system, you can customize any profile for session or on-demand, or even mix it up.

Arizer Go SRT Vaporizer Review Controls

Currently, I have my profiles set up to mimic my most-used style: three temperature steps increasing throughout a longer session. Profile 1 is set to 360°F (182 °C) for five minutes. Profile 2 is set to 390°F (200 °C) for five minutes, and Profile 3 finishes things off at 428°F (220 °C) for five minutes. With the five-minute timer, I won’t feel rushed. I hit profile 1 until the vapor wanes, then press the Up button to Profile 2 until it’s done there, and repeat at Profile 3 until done.

When you turn the SRT on, there is a lock screen to navigate. The combination is on the bottom of the vape. Go to the settings (hold in the down button) and turn this off right away and you’ll never see it again. If you want to check the battery level, hold in the down button, where you can also set the shutoff timer to 20, 40 or 60 minutes (not the session timer - this one turns off the whole vape).

Finally, I must give Arizer kudos for adding vibration feedback to the Go SRT. This is their first portable to have it, and I’ve complained about its absence from their other vapes for years. Thank you, Arizer!

Dosing capsules and great accessories

Did you know Arizer has never made dosing capsules for their vapes before? Even though almost all of them use the same stems, no dosing capsules. That ends with the Go SRT.

Arizer has developed a unique glass dosing capsule system that only works with the Go SRT. And while the Go SRT uses the same stems as the original Go vaporizer, these capsules (Arizer calls them shells) are not backwards compatible.

They operate as if we separated the bowls from the glass stems. The stem can stay in the SRT while we swap shells in and out of the oven. The shells have a metal screen at the bottom that easily falls out of the top. And the shells don’t have a lid that attaches and goes in the oven. Instead, they have a silicone cap for each end that you remove before placing the shell in the oven.

The bottom cap has an indentation that doubles as a tamp tool to give your packed bowls the perfect depth. Make sure to use this when you pack the bowls. My sessions were more efficient and more evenly cooked when I did.

Make sure you load the Shell dosing capsule with the nub side up!

The water pipe adapter stem is shorter than the original stem because it can only be used with the shells. (I dug up an old water pipe adapter for my original Go and it worked perfectly with the SRT without the shells.)

I found the shells satisfying. When I compared them to the original Go stem, they hit a tad weaker, but not enough to discourage me from using them. In fact, I had a great time with them when I went out to a party with Arizer’s 10-pack in my pocket. They were a little more fiddly than other dosing capsules, but the performance was great.

As for the ecosystem, not only did Arizer make the 10-pack case I just mentioned, but they also have a grinder that can drop your herbs straight into six shells at a time in a neat travel puck.

Solid battery life / power management

Power management on the Arizer Go SRT is solid. The USB‑C port supports fast charging and adds roughly 20% battery charge in about 15 minutes. A full charge took two hours. The vape also supports passthrough charging, so it can be used while plugged in.

Battery tests were conducted at 390°F for consistency. On a single charge, the Go SRT produced:

  • 10 sessions
  • 79 total hits
  • About 53 minutes of total runtime
  • Approximately 1.3 grams of herb consumed

The battery is user‑replaceable in order to comply with current European regulations. It is not hot‑swappable, but replacing it requires only basic tools.

The vape ships in Eco mode, which is great for overall battery longevity. It limits a full charge to just 80%, so your battery lives longer. If you want to charge to 100%, press and hold the UP button while the SRT is plugged in.

Easy to clean, easier to reclaim

Arizer portables have always been easy to clean, and the Go SRT falls right in line. To clean the oven, hold the vape upside down and wipe it with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. Soak all the screens and glass parts in rubbing alcohol, rinse with hot water, dry, and you’re done!

Better yet, don’t soak the parts in alcohol. Instead, put them in a saucepan with some milk and bring to a simmer until all the oils boil off. Rinse and dry the parts and you’re done. Then add some cocoa to the milk and you have a nice hot chocolate nightcap to sleep like a baby!

Big, but still pocketable

Arizer’s Go SRT pushes the limits of pocketability and is too big to hide in your hand. I typically put it in my front pocket, and couldn’t put anything else with it without feeling overloaded. When I brought the 10-shell case with me, I needed two pockets for it all. It was a great on-the-road-all-night vape solution, but it used up considerably more space than something like a Lobo with two capsule caddies. Here are the size and weight specs:

With the stem and cap installed, the Go SRT is:

  • 2⅓” wide (60mm)
  • 1⅕” deep (30mm)
  • 4⅓” tall (110mm)
  • And weighs half a pound, or 242 grams.

The build quality is solid on the Arizer Go SRT vaporizer. Its metal exterior has some plastic mixed in, and the weight is sturdy. Best of all, the glass stems are recessed, with the exposed ends protected by a thick silicone cap. It’s hard to offer the purity of glass without losing all durability, but Arizer nailed this one.

Downsides

No vape is perfect, and I found a few minor things to complain about. I already mentioned the size - the Go SRT maxes out the term pocketable, and it’s not very discreet.

At first, I bumped into the power button during a session and inadvertently turned the heater off a few times, which was easy enough to turn back on. But then the bowl temp got hotter than intended for the session. It’s not a big deal, and a simple adjustment to how I hold it was all it took to never do it again.

The Solo 3 works with XL-sized bowls, which I love, and they are not an option with the SRT. While I love the Go SRT as a replacement for my older Arizer portables, it won’t replace my Solo 3 simply due to the strength of sessions.

Warranty

The Arizer Go SRT Vaporizer comes with a lifetime warranty on the heating element, a 2-year warranty that covers defects, and a 1-year warranty on the battery. Glass accessories are NOT covered. And when you buy from us, you are also covered by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

Arizer Go SRT tips

The Arizer Go SRT has a lot of accessories and custom options to tweak, and here are some suggestions for you as you get started with it.

  • Turn the lock screen off in the settings. I find the lock screen annoying, and the first thing I did after I turned the vape on was turn that setting off.
  • At first the stems were hard to push into the mouthpiece, and I thought I was doing it wrong. Don’t be afraid to push hard the first time for each stem. Push until the glass pokes out the bottom.
  • The three default heat profiles give you a good idea of the range of things you can do with the Go SRT. Have fun and play around with all of them until you find your sweet spot. Whether it’s a session or on-demand, this vape can do it just right if you tweak things.
  • The bowl pack is important, and you want to keep the herbs off the oven floor or they will scorch and ruin the session’s taste. Use the silicone plugs from the shells to tamp the herbs to the perfect depth.
  • When you use the water pipe adapter, you can pack loosely without a tamp because the vape will be inverted, and the herbs will automatically stay off the bowl floor. And check out how the screen and controls flip when you turn the SRT upside down!

Who is the Arizer Go SRT for?

Firstly, the Go SRT is a great choice for Arizer fans who want more powerful sessions than older models (but not the Solo 3) could provide, and in a pocketable form factor with a great accessory ecosystem. It’s their best combination of power, pocketability, and durability.

For those that aren’t familiar with Arizer vapes, the Go SRT offers fantastic flavor with respectable punch. If you’re looking for a pocketable vape that hits harder than your average portable without sacrificing flavor or battery power, this one should be on your list.

Who is the Arizer Go SRT NOT for?

At $255, the Arizer Go SRT isn’t an expensive vape, but it’s not a budget vape, either. If you’re working with limited funds, you can get a solid vape for around $100. It’s also not the strongest Arizer portable offered. If you want that, grab the Solo 3 for nearly the same price. Finally, while I love the new shells, they are a little fiddly compared to other dosing capsule systems. If you like capsules for convenience, these may be a little much.

Conclusion

I’ve been an Arizer portable fan for 15 years now, because they are super tasty and very affordable. Eventually, however, I needed something stronger. The Solo 3 answered that call, but it’s big and not very pocketable. I found the Go SRT to be a worthy compromise between punch and portability. It’s noticeably more powerful than other Arizer portables, and the recessed-stem design takes the worry out of travelling with glass.

I was really surprised by the shells. I didn’t see that coming at all, and the design is pretty unique. It works and preserves the Arizer session style. With the 10-pack shell case, I was able to use the Go SRT away from home for an entire night with a convenience I’ve never experienced with an Arizer portable vape before.
