Good idea could be better
The sleeved must be slid up to use the charging port since the material thickness prevents the USB plug from fully inserting. No point having the hole for the charging port, better to not have it so the port is protected, really. The tool holder is handy, The silicon attracts lint and herb dust, which is, well, a little unsightly. A better accessory would be a scent blocking case or pouch to keep it in as it is pretty stinky after use.
Not really necessary, and has some issues. Works OK for making a DIY lanyard though.
First of all, my Starry never gets too hot to handle, even with longer sessions at high temps, so it's not like it needs heat insulation. The sleeve provides a bit of scratch protection, but won't absorb much impact. So a sleeve really isn't necessary to begin with. The problems: swapping batteries requires fiddling with the sleeve where it grips the very bottom, so in time it won't grip the bottom tightly. It also makes the charging port less accessible. Most people will need to either slide the sleeve up, or make the charging hole larger, to properly insert the charging cord. To make the battery and charging port easily accessible, i cut off the whole bottom portion of the sleeve. I tied a leather strip through the tool holder on the side, and attached a fabric strap to that. So now i'll use it as a DIY "vape lanyard". But on its own, it's just not good enough to be an essential add-on.
