Boundless Tera Cleaning and Maintenance Guide

Boundless Tera Cleaning and Maintenance Guide

If your Tera isn’t smelling so fresh, our cleaning guide will have it looking brand new.

The best way to keep your Boundless Tera looking and smelling its best is with frequent cleaning. That said, it will start to accumulate a little bit of residue over time, and full cleaning and maintenance is simpler than you might think. We’ll walk you through the whole process, and set you back on the right path to a clean, efficient vape.

Boundless Tera Vaporizer

How often should you clean?

The simple answer is that you should clean the Tera as often as you feel is necessary. There are some telltale signs that it might be time for a deep cleaning, namely a smell coming from the empty vaporizer, more restricted airflow, or less tasty sessions.

What needs to be cleaned?

While the vaporizer might take up your whole pocket, only a small chunk of it actually needs cleaning. The plastic body of the vaporizer itself doesn’t need anything except a wipe down with a soft cloth, and you should make sure to keep it clear of any cleaning liquids or isopropyl alcohol. Instead, you should focus your cleaning on the mouthpiece itself, although we’ll get to the inside of the oven as well.

What do you need?

You don’t need much to clean the Tera or its mouthpiece. You’ll want a small glass or dish to soak some of the mouthpiece parts in, as well as some pipe cleaners. The included cleaning brush has stiff bristles that are also excellent for regular quick cleanings, and can help you get into some of the deeper crevices in the mouthpiece.

Boundless Tera Vaporizer Mouthpiece Screen

The mouthpiece

Taking apart the mouthpiece doesn’t require any tools or extra work. Detach the mouthpiece stem from the mouthpiece by wiggling it back and forth. You can remove the screen from the bottom of the mouthpiece by pressing on it from the side until it pops free. Likewise, the screen holder under the mouthpiece should pop free with some wiggling.

Scrub or soak

While taking apart the pieces gives you better access for cleaning, Boundless notes that you can just drop the entire mouthpiece into the isopropyl alcohol. However you decide to do it, make sure you don’t soak anything for longer than ten minutes. Afterwards, make sure to remove them from the alcohol and rinse them well, then let them dry completely before reinstalling them.

Boundless Tera Vaporizer Oven

The oven

If the inside of the oven isn’t looking so clean, make sure to start with the stiff brush and knock off anything remaining inside. If it needs more cleaning, turn the whole device upside down and use a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol to swab out the inside and lower screen, taking care to prevent any liquid from dripping down into the heater.

Burnoff before use

Before you dive back in for another session, we recommend running a burn-off cycle on the Tera. With the mouthpiece on and nothing in the oven, turn the Tera on, engage the heater, and turn the heat all the way up. Let it run until it shuts off on its own, which should take about five minutes.
