miniVAP Vaporizer Cleaning Guide
Cleaning the miniVAP is easy. If you use the direct pack method, there is one extra step for you.
ISO Soak
The only parts that should get dirty are the mouthpiece, baskets, oil pads, screens and flexicones all of which can be cleaned by soaking for thirty minutes in high percentage isopropyl alcohol (ISO). 91% or higher is best.
We like to throw all the parts in a small glass dish and enough ISO in to just cover, agitating every now and then.
Rinse & Dry
Rinse all the parts thoroughly in warm water and let them all dry completely before using again. If you still smell some ISO rinse and dry again.
If you direct pack
If you use the direct pack method, the heating chamber can be cleaned by rubbing it with a cotton swab dipped in ISO. Be sure to not let any ISO drip down into the heater. Holding it upside down while cleaning can help here.
