The PAX Flow hits great out of the box, but a few small tweaks can make your sessions smoother, cooler, and more enjoyable. This guide walks you through everything from setup to cleanup to help you get the most out of every session.
Get the grip sleeve
We highly recommend the PAX Flow Grip Sleeve. The Flow can get hot at higher temperatures or during longer sessions, and you’ll probably want to set it down. Throw on the grip sleeve to keep it comfortable in hand and add a bit of style while you’re at it.
It’s included FREE when you buy from us!
Turn the mouthpiece around
You can flip the mouthpiece and hit the Flow from either side. It works both ways. Mine came set up with the LED petals facing away from me while I hit it. I prefer seeing the lights as I bring it to my lips, so I just turned the mouthpiece around. If the mouthpiece won’t budge, take off the oven lid and push it out from the other end.
And if you want a more traditional feel, try out the raised mouthpiece.

Different packs for different styles
Switch up your pack depending on how you like to vape. A loose pack gives you lighter, more flavorful hits that go easy. Tighter packs hit harder and run longer, though they take a bit more time to ramp up. Either way, airflow stays wide open.
Grab the PAX Water Pipe Adapter 2 for bubblers
The PAX Water Pipe Adapter 2 is a must-have if you rock a bubbler. Hotter sessions can creep up on you with a little harshness on the throat, especially on long pulls at higher temps. It comes with 14mm and 18mm connections and is currently the only way to water-cool your sessions.
Bubbler Mode and how to activate it
Bubbler Mode is the PAX Flow’s bonus Heat Mode that kicks it up to 437°F/225°C for thick clouds through your favorite glass bubbler. To activate it, cycle through all of the temperature settings three times until the petals light up with rainbow colors. This takes around 10 to 13 clicks total.
It’s designed for bubblers, so you’ll need the PAX Water Pipe Adapter 2 to hook it up. You can still use it without water if you want high-temp vapor. Just know the Flow will get hot to the touch, including the mouthpiece.

Adjust LED brightness
The Flow’s lights can light up a room. Cool for daylight, kind of rough at night. You can change the brightness anytime with a quick trick. There are three levels: low, medium, and high.
While it’s on, hold it flat with the top in your right hand.
- Roll towards you twice to dim the lights
- Roll away from you twice to brighten the lights
It works, but it’s a little finicky. If nothing happens, try again until it kicks in. I find that slower rolls work more consistently

Clean after every session - it’s so easy!
A quick cleanse after each session is the best thing you can do for your PAX Flow, and it only takes a minute. Most of the mess builds up along the exposed vapor path and inside the oven, with some on the mouthpiece after extensive use. While the vape is still warm, grab a paper towel and wipe down the vapor path. Sticky residue comes right off when it’s fresh. Empty the oven too to keep buildup from setting in.

Use the right cable for fast charging
The Flow charges fast. It can go from empty to full in about 40 minutes, but only if you use the right cable. Fast charging works best with USB-C to USB-C. It’s not guaranteed with a USB-C to USB-A cable. Keep the one that came with your Flow, and you’re good to go.
