XVAPE Vista Mini 2 Tips & Tricks Guide

Dive in to our tips and tricks to take your Vista Mini 2 sessions to new heights!

The XVAPE Vista Mini 2 is pretty straightforward when it comes to concentrates. However, we’ve come up with a few tips and tricks that you may find useful. So grab your Vista Mini 2 and let’s get to it!

Use the plastic buckle!

XVAPE included a plastic buckle along (aka a keck clip) with the other accessories, and its purpose is underemphasized. The manual doesn’t go into detail, but it’s meant to keep the mouthpiece from falling off, making it safer and easier to walk around with. The larger bracket goes around the female joint, with the smaller bracket securing onto the mouthpiece itself. Use it!

Interchangeable mouthpiece

As we just mentioned, the mouthpiece isn't permanently attached, meaning you can swap in any attachment you’d like with a 14mm male fitting. Our personal favorite is a whip for relaxing, hookah style hits! The X MAX Starry Water Pipe Adapter works perfectly for this.

Flutter the carb cap

Unlike a lot of traditional torch and banger setups, the Vista Mini 2 Carb Cap is nondirectional, so you can’t swirl the load around. Instead, we found that fluttering the intake hole on top does an okay job at moving the concentrates around inside. It’s not perfect, but it’ll work just fine until a better solution comes out.

For bigger hits…

In our Vista Mini 2 Review, we mentioned that big, monster hits aren’t its strongest feature. This is still true, but we found a way around it. If you don’t mind making a bit of a mess, throw in bigger loads for bigger hits. It may overflow or splash a bit, but the vapor will be exponentially thicker and denser. Combine this with our “flutter” technique above and you’ll be in for a great ride!

Questionable battery indicator

The Vista Mini 2 manual provides a graphic showing you the light progression as the battery drains, but we found this to be inaccurate. When the battery indicator turns green the battery should be about two-thirds remaining, but our tests showed it to be about one-third remaining. We suggest throwing it on the charger as soon as the battery light turns green.

Use its wireless charging!

One of the best, and coolest, features of the Vista Mini 2 is its wireless charging feature. It makes the battery meter issue a moot point, and is easily one of the most useful features we’ve seen in a vaporizer. Simply set it down before you go to bed every night to ensure that you never wake up the next day to a dead unit. Don’t skip out on this feature!
