We like to think of the Arizer Solo as a tried and true classic. And the Solo II looks to be taking everything great about the Solo and making it better plus some new features that we haven't seen from Arizer before. Let's take a look...

Fantastic vapor and air flow
The Solo 2 kicks out cool and tasty vapor. Every temperature I used it on was smooth and comfortable, and the great taste lasted until just the last couple of pulls. The new bowl design with “recessed heat jets” opens up the airflow a lot and I didn’t feel restricted like with the original Solo. That being said, the word is the Solos coming off the factory floor today will have this same heat jet design.
Heat up time
I got to top temp in 28 seconds, which is crazy compared to the couple of minutes I needed with the original Solo. The Solo 2 is now on par with some of the fastest portables out there!
Size
The Solo 2 is the same height as the original Solo, and a little thinner. The oval shape feels better in the hands and the new display is great. Compared to the Arizer Air, the Solo II is slightly shorter but just about twice as wide -- though not as thick as two Airs would be side by side due to the oval shape. Those extra centimeters of width are filled with a second 18650 battery that you don't get in the Air.

Full control
We now have full digital temperature control, a battery indicator, and control of all the session parameters right on board (start-up timer, shut-off timer, screen brightness, beep volume, °C / °F ). The adjustable shut-off timer is something we have heard requested for years and the Solo 2 is one of the first vapes (we can remember) that lets you set this -- pretty cool little tweak.
Arizer has packed most of what one would expect from an app connected vape right into a pretty simple, tactile control. Nice to get everything you need onboard, putting all the bells and whistles in one place.
Battery life
Arizer states 3 hours of operating time, which would be 15 sessions on a full charge using the 12-minute timer like the original Solo does. But since you can adjust the session timer from between 5 and 15 minutes you can have between 12 and 36 sessions depending on your settings. Ambient temperatures and how often you hit the unit during a session play a part in how long the battery lasts.
Though the batteries are non-swappable, like the original Arizer Solo, you get great battery life with the dual, high-quality 18650s. This vape can last me days on a single charge and can be used while plugged in, juicing up for emergency situations.
Sum it up
The Arizer Solo 2 is what you always wanted the original Solo to be - faster and smaller with a longer lasting battery, increased aairflow full digital temperature control and all the session parameter tweaking you can handle. I love it!
The battery seems to last forever and the vapor is cool and tasty. I can see this being a daily driver for just about anyone.
