The DaVinci MIQRO’s ultra-portable design is attractive and efficient, but it’s also easy to use. Our quickstart guide walked you through the unboxing and first session, and our tips and tricks guide can help you take your vaping experience to the next level with some handy improvements.
Grind medium-fine
We recommend a medium to fine grind for the MIQRO, which is easier to produce in a two piece grinder. If you don’t have one handy, you can turn the top two tiers of your tiered grinder upside down, so the herb stays between the teeth a little longer. Once you’ve ground the herb to your liking, the carry can in the Explorer’s Collection has a special stash compartment on the bottom you can load up.
Pack with the pearl
Once you get a feel for how much you like to load into the MIQRO’s oven, it becomes even easier to load on the go. Simply drop your desired amount into the slick funneled surface around the oven, then gently push it towards the hole. The pearl is set to pack down the herb just the right amount, so you don’t have to do it yourself.
Short or long, keep it light
The MIQRO vaporizer produces the best vapor when you take soft, light draws from it, but beyond that, it’s up to you. You can either take long, slow draws, or quick, light puffs, like sipping hot tea, and you should see some solid results. If you opt for longer hits, it helps to give the MIQRO’s heater 15 seconds or more to come back up to temperature, which will also result in thicker vapor production.
Oven turnover
While the DaVinci MIQRO shouldn’t need stirring, users seeking to get the most out of their herb may find that doing so helps get the last little bits efficiently vaporized. Instead of stirring in the oven, you can tap out the contents into your hand once they’ve cooled down a little, then dump them back into the funnel so they slide back into the oven. You don’t even need to tamp much with your fingers, as the pearl will push things down into the perfect spot.
