What is a Box Mod
Box Mods are a bit different than the standard vaporizers we carry on our site. They supply all the power, but don’t produce any vapor until you throw an atomizer, like the Saionara, on top of them. The term box mod describes two things: its shape, and the level of customization that comes with it. Dive deep into the settings and fine-tune everything from temperature to how fast or slow you want it to heat up.
How to use a Box Mod with the Saionara
At Planet of the Vapes, we offer atomizers that vaporize concentrate materials, which are not to be confused with E-juice or liquids. The Saionara works best with middle wattage settings and should be set to the appropriate Temp Control mode for your coil. With the cap removed, take a rice-grain sized amount of concentrate and set it directly on the coil. Once you’re ready to go, hold the power button and give it a relaxed inhale, and release it a few seconds before you finish up your draw. For more tips and details, check out our Saionara Buyer’s Guide.
How much does a Box Mod cost
The price of a box mod depends, among other things, its hardware under the hood. Cheaper mods, like the Eleaf iStick Pico 75W, are great for beginners, providing everything needed for easy sessions. The upper end of the price range, like the Dovpo DOVPO Odin DNA250c, are built with a rugged hard shell, dual batteries, and an upgraded chipset that unlocks a suite of useful features for a variety of different users.
