Arizer Solo 2 review & demo
Who's the Arizer Solo 2 for?
The Arizer Solo II is for anyone that wants excellent, high-quality vapor, fast heat up time, long battery life, and full digital temperature control from a portable vape at a reasonable price. It’s perfect for around the house or for on the go sessions where pocketability is not a priority.
The original Solo set the standard for tasty, cool vapor quality while on the go, and the Solo II keeps it going with its ceramic, stainless steel and glass vapor path and mouthpiece. The taste is pure and the vapor is smooth and cool, just like we’ve come to expect from Arizer.
Check out the Solo 2 Water pipe Adapter for cooler sessions through your favorite bubbler.
Fast heat up time
The Solo II gets up to 390 ° Fahrenheit in just 23 seconds and to top temperature in under 30 seconds. Perfect for a quick session!
Long, long, battery life
The Solo II has one of the longest lasting batteries in a portable vaporizer that we've tested with just shy of 3 hours of vaping time. This is about double the battery life that we see from most portables. And if you forget to keep your Solo II charged, it can also be used while plugged in after just 5 or so minutes of charging.
Full digital session control
The Solo II features a LED display with easy to use button controls to customize your vaporizing style and personalize your session without the need for an app. You get full digital temperature settings, adjustable auto-shutoff timer, adjustable beep notification, brightness control, and a belt-clip carrying case similar to the one that comes with the Arizer Air.
The Solo II comes standard with recessed heat jets in the heating chamber for a little more airflow than the original. The Solo II features a more powerful heater and can keep up with even the strongest inhales and deliver consistent heat, with or without a grinder.
Arizer designed the Solo II with a slimmer profile in an oval shape that feels much nicer in your hand than the original Solo, but doesn’t sacrifice durability. While still not quite pocket friendly for most people the included carrying case works well when portability matters.
The Solo II comes with a 2-year warranty on workmanship and defects, an industry leading 1-year warranty on the battery, and a lifetime warranty on the heating element. Like all of our products, the Solo II is covered by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

Handy and discreet. Customer service helped exchange a different vape for this model and couldn't have had a more pleasant experience given the scenario.
Strengths? Flavor, very tasty draws. It is glass all the way, as clean as it gets. Arizer uses glass stems with an inverted bowl that inserts into the Solo. Look it up, it does make sense. Precise, to the degree temperature control. Rapid heat up, 20 to 30 seconds. I advise placing the stem in at the start and give it a little more time for richer tips. Low maintenance, follow the protocol and charging is your only job. Battery life is crazy! I am a moderate to heavy user, I only recharge it every other day. Weaknesses? Only one, the same as its strength, the glass stems. They are fragile and will break if treated carelessly. As yet, I have not broken one but it seems inevitable. Replacement is inexpensive. It comes with two straight stems. I highly recommend buying the bent stem, it allows for a more relaxed stance. If you are a fan of water pipes, there is a 14mm adapter available. I researched nearly every vaporizer out there, the Solo 2 suited my needs. The folks at Planet of the Vapes were very patient with my endless questions, I am certain you will be treated the same. Happy Vapes To You!
I’ve purchased several vaporizers over the last 6 years. Desktop to the **** Snoop Dog coil as well as dry herb bulky vapes all the way to the PAX 2. Never quite happy with any of them. Pax is great for looks durability, but not a ton of flavor or vapor at even the high temperatures. The Solo 2 is great. The taste, like I have never had. I now taste terpenoids( a word?) and have great vapor. I use the wood tube when out, because of fragility and the glass tubes at home. Also used adapter on a bong. Awkward, but tastes great. Don’t think you will regret the purchase. Customer service is top-notch and delivery speed is lightning fast.
Product is perfect. Great air flow, tasty vaper, battery life is something like 30 sessions. Customer service was just as good, they exchanged my old rig after almost 3 years, you can’t beat that. I wish I had an extra set of hands so I could give the whole experience 4 thumbs up.
The Arizer Solo 2 is a huge step up from other portable dry herb vapes that I've tried. Flavor, efficiency, battery life, all great. Plus, POTV's customer service is amazing (they sorted issues I had with some of Arizer glass stems). What's not to like?
